Jessica Green is a Certified Practicing Speech Pathologist and graduated with a Bachelor of Speech Pathology from La Trobe University. She has extensive experience working with toddlers, pre-schoolers and school aged children with a variety of complex communication needs, including children with Autism Spectrum Disorders, Down Syndrome, Intellectual Disability and Developmental Disorders. She also has experience trialling and implementing Alternative and Augmentative Communication (AAC), including Key Word Sign and various Assistive Technologies.
She has worked in both rural and metropolitan areas, across a range of settings including hospitals, schools, kindergartens, child care centres, in homes and clinics. Jess loves working with young children and their families to achieve their communication goals. She has attended the Hanen - 'It Takes Two To Talk' training and is passionate about utilising the parent training strategies for both one on one and group sessions to achieve functional language goals for young children.
In her spare time, Jess enjoys spending time with her family, reading books and cooking. She loves getting out into nature and going camping!
