Emily graduated from Australian Catholic University with a Bachelor of Speech Pathology, and is passionate about working together with families to achieve their speech, language, feeding and communication goals. Emily comes to Talkativity with experience from both private practice and the mainstream school setting. Emily has worked extensively with very young children, preschoolers, school-aged and older children and their families by ensuring their therapy is flexible, caters to their changing needs, and is tailored to the child and family's interests.
Emily is enthusiastic about creating positive learning experiences for children to improve their participation across their home, school and community environments. Emily has particular interest in working with children with feeding and oral motor difficulties, as well as children with difficulties across speech, language, fluency, and social communication skills.
In her spare time Emily enjoys baking and playing the cello and piano.
